Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance or HSA/FSA?
We are an out-of-network provider so we do not take health insurance, this allows us to focus on the quality of your experience in the clinic and not on the quantity of patients. We also provide documentation for patients with out-of-network benefits to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement AND we accept HSA/FSA.
Do I need a referral?
In Vermont, you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist. Data shows that patients who see physical therapists first for musculoskeletal symptoms have lower cost of care and shorter return-to-activity times.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! Currently, there are same-week appointments available.
How is your approach to physical therapy different?
Physical therapy has a branding problem and its time for a reframe.
How do I schedule my first appointment?
All of our scheduling is patient-sided, use the big “schedule now” button at the top of the page.
What does a physical therapy session look like with Sonder?
Every single session that you have with your physical therapist is completely one-on-one.
You do not get passed off to an assistant, a tech, or anyone else during the session.
We combine the latest evidence-based manual treatment with meaningful movement to facilitate growth for our patients.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
We ask for 24-hour advance notice for schedule changes. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, you will be charged for the session. But we’re human and know that life happens, reach out to Tae@sonderrp.com if something comes up!
