Rehab has to challenge you
so that playing your sport is easy.
Pain should not be the reason you stop doing what you love. If you have been told to stop running, rowing, jumping, etc. because you are in pain, let’s develop a plan to get you back pain-free.

Playing tennis over the past year, I developed both plantar fasciitis and tennis-elbow. These conditions seriously diminished my ability to play and enjoy a sport I've grown to love. I went and saw Dr. Taelon Parson and he has been an amazing resource for addressing these issues. Not only does Dr. Parson directly treat the affected areas with a combination of soft tissue massage, dry needling, and other techniques, but he also gives you workouts and stretches you can do at home to prevent the injuries from coming back. He has designed a warm-up routine for me to complete before and after tennis matches to help me avoid injuries. I have told many of my tennis friends about Dr. Parson and how he's gotten me back on my feet, literally. I highly recommend you checking him our for your physical therapy needs.

I am profoundly grateful for everything that Dr. Taelon Parson has done for me. I started exercising 4 years ago after being sedentary for 20 years, and I very quickly started experiencing knee pain from running. I tried to manage it on my own with mixed results, and grew more and more frustrated as the pain appeared to be persistent and began affecting my range of motion.
After 3 years, I finally took the initiative of reaching out to Dr. Parson, who asked me to do a few simple squats and lunges, which allowed me to isolate and describe the exact source of the pain for him. From this, he was able to explain the reasons for the persistent pains and aches that I have been experiencing. He then led me through a series of simple strength exercises that helped me retrain parts of my body that I wasn’t used to soliciting or using correctly. I now do the exercises everyday as primers for my workouts.
He combined the exercises with just 4 sessions of cupping and dry needling, and I am astounded by how straightforward and effective this course of treatment has been. I have never felt stronger, stabler, or more confident during heavy lifts, and I am able to run again pain-free for the first time in 2 years.
The other day, out of the blue and completely unsolicited, my encouraging but extremely demanding coach noticed my progress and complimented me on how much my form had improved over the course of just 1 month. I give full credit to Dr. Parson for being my guide on my journey to recovery and improvement. I cannot imagine being where I am today—and I never would have believed that I would have been able to get here so quickly, safely, and efficiently—without his deep knowledge of the human body, his perceptive eyes, skillful hands, and reassuring words. He possesses an incredible presence of spirit, and the infinite curiosity of his mind made every session with him a pleasure and something to look forward to.
