Our shoulders require a balance of stability and mobility
to help us throw, push, pull, row, climb…
Shoulder rehab should address everything: Your thoracic spine, your scapula, your shoulder. Let’s fortify your shoulders.
Christopher T., CRNA
I am a nurse anesthetist in the North Country of New Hampshire and part of my daily responsibility is to have my upper extremities in awkward (and many times) sustained positions in order to maintain ventilation and airways for patients of all kinds for all kinds of surgeries and procedures. This, combined with a physically active personal lifestyle, has created some serious shoulder problems for me. I was connected to Dr. Tae through my PCP and I cannot believe how much help I’ve received with my pained right shoulder joint. I have gotten incredibly descriptive explanations for understanding the normal physiology of dynamic shoulder movement and very specialized descriptions of how my own shoulder’s pathophysiology has affected my abilities.
Dr. Tae didn’t lay a hand or make a suggestion until there was a thorough understanding of what we would embark upon and why. Impressive. Beyond that, he’s alleviated a lot of my fears about the ability to continue work and we’ve had lengthy discussions about the progression of healing an injured joint. Half a year later, I am experiencing the fruit of that progression and I can only see more improvement. He’s incredibly easy to work with and has a wonderfully individualized manner.
Before finding him, I had tried deep tissue massage, heat, cold, cream medications, over-the-counter pills, and even injections into my joint and none have been as effective as our sessions together which included targeted muscle development exercise, changes in behavior, dry needling, and other specific joint work. I’m so, so grateful. Returning to a pain-free lifestyle with his work has increased my confidence in achieving a quality of life I thought was lost to me.

I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Tae in addressing my persistent shoulder pain. After enduring 18 months of discomfort and being unable to play tennis, Tae has been a game-changer in my road to recovery.
Tae quickly identified the root cause for my shoulder pain and helped uncover issues overlooked by other physical therapists. The incorporation of dry needling into my treatment plan was a breakthrough that sets Tae apart. The targeted relief provided by this technique significantly alleviated my pain and contributed immensely to my progress after only 2 sessions.
Equally noteworthy is Tae's exceptional interpersonal skills. Throughout the process, he actively listened to my concerns, providing reassurance and understanding. His positive and encouraging demeanor motivated me to perform all the at-home exercises he prescribed.
In short, I highly recommend Tae. I was ready to give up and just live with my persistent shoulder pain, but Tae was able to fix me and get me back to the activities I enjoy. Thank you Tae!
