Our hip is our engine.
Poor force production = Poor outcomes.
Our entire lower extremity works together to allow us to run, jump, walk, cut, kick, optimally.
Let’s make sure your engine is putting out all the power possible.

I was determined to get my Red Hat at 29029 Everest-ing in SnowBasin UT: this meant finishing a 29,029' vertical climb over 30 miles in 36 hours. After 6 months of training, my body decided I was crazy and started to throw up all the roadblocks: severe hip and lower back pain that I had never had before. For weeks, nothing was working and I thought for sure, I was defeated. Dr. Tae identified the issue and alleviated the pain in my very first session, three weeks before my event.
I would never have been able to achieve my goal, nor would I have learned how to stretch and strengthen the weakness so that it won't happen again, without the expertise of Dr. Tae. I am forever grateful!
I have and will continue to recommend him to everyone I meet. I am so confident, based on my own results, that with his assessment and listening skills, he will identify the issue and have a clear and effective plan to fix it.

In late Spring, I started to experience sharp pain in my hip while running. One Doctor told me I had arthritis and instructed me to “stay off of it” and another physical therapist gave me no official diagnosis, and left me with a few stretches and exercises, telling me that the pain should eventually go away. As someone who runs for both my physical and mental health, these conclusions were unsatisfactory and frustrating. Upon hearing my frustrations, a friend urged me to see Dr. Tae, and my only regret is that I did not see him sooner.
Within 1 session, I not only had a clear understanding of what was going on with my hip and why I was experiencing pain in the first place, but I also had a proper toolkit of stretches and exercises to get me back to running. Within 2 sessions, I was able to run with significantly less pain, and felt well equipped to deal with any soreness I encountered. After the third session I was able to complete a run at my usual distance and pace!
I am beyond grateful to Dr. Tae for not only getting me back to running, but for giving me the tools to help manage and prevent further pain or injury. His extensive knowledge and attentiveness have left me with the utmost confidence that I can run farther and faster, without jeopardizing my progress.
